President’s Message: News at Global CTI

The New Year is well underway and Global CTI has some exciting news to share. We have recently announced a few structural changes that will ultimately strengthen our business and allow us to provide better service to our clients. Furthermore, ShoreTel has made a couple of announcements that will further separate it from the competition and also some product changes that will affect our ShoreTel clients.

Over the past few months we have been working to strengthen our ability to serve our clients. One of our decisions was to create two new VP positions. We recently announced the promotion of John Richardson to VP of Sales and Brian Brunette to VP of Operation. Along with that announcement was a decision to establish a dedicated focus to the State, Local and Education Sector (SLED). Santi Oloriz has been promoted to be the Director of SLED and is already making great progress with our SLED clients in Southern California. In addition we welcomed back Jenise Anderson to Global and she is now our Contact Center Practice Specialist. We have also created a communications cabling division which is being run by Paul Kaiser along with a team of seven new members who are doing a great job. We have added three new account managers over the past few months across our geography, Bobby Josker in Southern California, Ryan Malpiede in Bakersfield, and Don Hyler in Fresno.

Along with our announcements, ShoreTel is also making moves to strengthen its reputation as the best Unified Communications solution on the market. Their moves include the development of the first truly premise/cloud hybrid Unified Communications solution in the world and they recently announced the end of sale of all 100, 200, and 500 series phones. The new version of ShoreTel that will be released later this year will provide our clients with much more flexibility in how you deliver services to your employees. Look out for more information on this exciting new release in the near future. Also, the older phone technology in the 100, 200, and 500 series phones is giving way to the newer technology available in the 400 series phones. Global CTI will be working with you over the coming weeks to provide you with how this will affect you to make sure you are fully educated on the changes.

We have been extremely busy and our year is off to a great start. We are grateful to you for allowing us to provide service to your organization. We are committed to work hard for you and we realize that we exist to serve you! If you have any questions or concerns my phone number is 661-716-3705. Feel free to call me anytime.

Thank you,

David Kaiser
